Owner - Operator

Chris founded Cape Sentinel after 25 years as a Special Agent with the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), including service as OCDETF Regional Coordinator for New England and Public Information Officer for the ATF Boston Division. He holds a master's in public administration from Suffolk University, is a licensed Private Investigator with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and is LEOSA certified for nationwide carry.

Colleagues who have worked directly with Chris consistently describe a composed, relationship-driven professional — someone who builds trust across law enforcement, government, and community partners, stays level-headed through high-stress and critical incidents, and is willing to make the hard call when it matters. Those are the same qualities he brings to every property he watches.

Jon laliberte

Field Director

As a Cape Cod native, Jon has spent more than 20 years helping homeowners care for and protect their properties. His deep roots in the community have allowed him to build lasting relationships with many of the Cape’s most trusted contractors, service providers, and local professionals.

Throughout his career, Jon has worked with discerning homeowners who value reliability, discretion, and attention to detail. Whether coordinating routine maintenance, preparing a home for the season, responding after a storm, or overseeing repairs, he understands that every property deserves the highest level of care.

At Cape Sentinel, Jon combines hands-on property management experience with an extensive network of reputable local tradespeople to ensure every home is looked after as if it were his own.
